Working together to be more sustainable

With our daily practices and partnerships, we not only help to reduce our carbon footprint, but we also help our customers to do the same.
In addition to recycling paper, metal and soft-plastics, we make use of our print management software to minimise paper waste.
Colourworks also works with Close The Loop to recycle toner cartridges into low-carbon roads, and our major partner Canon works hard to reduce its environmental impact.

Close The Loop TonerPave™

TonerPave™ is new asphalt with high-recycled content and a reduced carbon footprint. TonerPave™ is a product developed by Close the Loop in partnership with one of Australia’s largest infrastructure companies, Downer Group and has a 23% lower carbon footprint same price as standard asphalt.

Canon’s commitment to the environment goes well beyond impressive energy, resource and noise saving technologies. Paper saving innovations, the use of recycled plastics and low energy consumption are just part of our offering.

Our toner recycling has contributed to laying 157.91 kms of road.
